We affirm the historic doctrines of the Christian faith, namely that God exists eternally in three Persons, and that Jesus Christ was--and is--God-in-flesh and Lord of all.
Evangelical.
We affirm the Bible's full truthfulness, the substitutionary nature of Christ's death on the cross, the necessity of the new birth through faith in Christ, and the call to advance God's kingdom through evangelism.
Baptist.
We affirm that baptism is for believers only, and should be perfomed by immersion. Similarly, we believe that the Lord's Supper is a symbolic remembrance of Christ's work, and that baptized believers are its rightful participants.
Congregational.
Each member has a voice and a vote. Pastors have authority only as it derived from the Great Shepherd and conferred by the congregation.

Biblical Preaching.
Our preaching is firmly rooted in Scripture. Each sermon challenges the heart, engages the mind, and feeds the soul as it explains a passage of Scripture and applies its meaning to life.
Authentic Worship.
Worship is more about substance than style. Through preaching, singing, praying, Scripture reading, and giving, believers gather to seek a fresh vision of God's glory, confess their depravity, embrace God's marvelous grace in Christ, and commit to service (Isa 6:1-8). At Bethany, worship is contemplative and warmly traditional, celebrating the historic hymns and embracing the newer songs of worship.
Meaningful Membership.
Chuch membership is among the most significant all relationships--our means of being the body of Christ. Through membership, Christians commmit to mutual love, encouragement, exhortation, and accountability (Heb 10:25). Membership is open to all baptized believers who affirm our statement of faith and agree to our membership covenant.
Teamwork.
Through ministry teams, we engage in intentional, focused ministries that fulfill our core values and facilitate maximum participation in accomplishing our New Testament mandates:
Discipleship.
We provide meaningful small group ministries that foster Christian growth through Bible study and friendship.
Evangelism.
We carry out God's plan to reach the world with the good news of Jesus through neighborhood outreach, intentional evangelism and supporting the Cooperative Program of the SBC.
Fellowship.
A church is a body of believers and a community of faith. We provide multiple outlets for building a sense of togetherness and strong fellowship across generations.
Nurture.
Through vibrant and biblically sound ministries to preschoolers, children, and youth, we seek to raise the next generation to know the Lord. We do not merely recount the Bible's stories, but we emphasize its grand message--that God created us for His pleasure, that we have sinned and fallen helplessly from Him, but He rescues people by faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
